Recent results on SM Higgs searches by the ATLAS experiment

ATLAS recently presented the status of its searches for the Standard Model Higgs boson. These results are based on the analysis of the data collected in 2011 and allows to make significant progress in the search for the Higgs boson. Current status, winter updates, prospects and expectations for 2012 on the existence or non-existence of the SM Higgs will be discussed.
