Descripción
T2K is a long-baseline neutrino oscillation experiment operating in Japan. The experiment started data taking in early 2010 and has collected about 2% of its expected final sample (1.4 x 10^20 POT at present), already verifying the nu_mu disappearance results of Super-Kamiokande and MINOS, and giving the first hint of nu_e appearance in a nu_mu beam. This is the most significant indication of a non-zero theta_13 obtained so far. In this talk, the experiment components and operation will be first presented. Then we will describe in detail the two oscillation analyses and their results and, finally, the future plans and expectations of the experiment will be shown.
