Recent physics results from dynamical twisted mass lattice QCD

I will present results for mesonic and baryonic observables in the light, strange and charm quark regions coming from lattice QCD simulations with N_f=2 flavours of twisted mass fermions. The status of ongoing N_f=2+1+1 simulations, including also the strange and charm quarks in the sea, will be presented.
