Gauge invariance of the deeply virtual Compton scattering amplitude

We analyze in detail the problem of gauge invariance of the deeply vitual Compton scattering (DVCS) amplitude. Taking into account twist-3 one-gluon exchange diagram contributions and the QCD equations of motion, we derive the general gauge invariant expression of the nucleon DVCS amplitude. Using the derived amplitude, the single-spin asymmetries for both case of longitudinally polarized lepton and of longitudinally polarized nucleon are calculated.
