DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Sergio Sanchez Cruz (Universidad de Oviedo)\nWe stud
y the sensitivity of top-quark pair production at the FCC-ee to heavy new
physics\, parametrised\nin the Standard Model effective field theory\, usi
ng discriminants based on matrix elements. The\nanalysis includes detector
reconstruction effects\, obtained with a fast simulation of the IDEA dete
ctor\nconcept\, and jet flavour tagging. We consider dimension-six operato
rs that modify the electroweak\ncouplings of the top quark or generate fou
r-fermion interactions\, at leading order and\nin diagrams with two resona
nt top quarks. The full six-body kinematic information is employed\nto max
imise the discrimination power against the Standard Model. Two bins per di
mension in\nthe space of 12 discriminants\, one per operator considered\,
provide a simple and robust methodology\nto set nearly optimal multidimens
ional constraints. Bounds on the new physics scale can\nreach values up to
30 TeV in a single-operator fit and up to 5 TeV in a global multi-operato
r fit. A\ncombination with High-Luminosity LHC prospects on top-quark oper
ators shows complementary\nsensitivities which help lift approximate degen
 eracies.\n\nhttps://indico.ific.uv.es/event/8657/contributions/31606/
