DESCRIPTION:I'll describe how quantum entanglement can be probed in proc
esses involving heavy particles at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC)\, with
a focus on W and Z bosons and top quarks. Rather than measuring entangleme
nt directly\, collider physicists use observable decay patterns—such as
angular correlations between leptons—to infer how the spins and quantum
states of these particles are linked. I’ll introduce the key ideas in a
n accessible way\, highlight recent experimental strategies\, and discuss
how these measurements can test the Standard Model and potentially reveal
 new physics.\n\nZoom link\n\nhttps://indico.ific.uv.es/event/8634/
