Extensions of the Standard Model, such as the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM), predict an extended Higgs sector with additional neutral heavy Higgs bosons (H/A). These particles can have enhanced couplings to down-type fermions at large tan⁡β.

This talk presents a search for heavy Higgs bosons decaying to tau lepton pairs in the fully hadronic (τ-had τ-had) final state using ATLAS Run~2 and Run~3 data. The analysis uses the topology of two high-pT taus produced back-to-back in the transverse plane. The dominant multijet background is estimated using a data-driven method, while other backgrounds are modeled using simulation. A statistical analysis is performed using the total transverse mass distribution, and the results are interpreted as upper limits on the production cross section times branching ratio.
