 iew of hadron physics research being carried out in São Paulo\, focusing 
 closely on the work of the group at the Federal and State University of S
 ão Paulo. We review the group's systematic application of unitarized effe
 ctive field theories\, three-body dynamics\, and QCD sum rules to decode t
 he non-perturbative regime. We discuss how these phenomenological results 
 offer critical benchmarks for Lattice QCD data and\, crucially\, serve to
