DESCRIPTION:This talk will provide an overview of recent research efforts
that use both classical and quantum Monte Carlo methods to achieve an accu
rate description of neutrino–nucleus scattering in the energy regime rel
evant for neutrino-oscillation experiments. I will discuss the Bayesian in
version of integral transforms of electroweak response functions obtained
from quantum Monte Carlo and Coupled-Cluster calculations. I will then pre
sent recent quantum Monte Carlo results for the ground-state properties an
d electroweak responses of 12 and 16O\, which are important for determinin
g inclusive cross sections. I will also discuss calculations of two-nucleo
n emission in exclusive channels induced by meson-exchange currents\, made
possible by Monte Carlo sampling and particularly relevant for fully expl
oiting the capabilities of liquid-argon detectors. Finally\, I will presen
t recent developments in the ACHILLES event generator for electron- and ne
 utrino-nucleus scattering.\n \n\nhttps://indico.ific.uv.es/event/8519/
