DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Byeongsu Yang ()\nThe Reactor Experiment for Neutrin
os and Exotics (RENE) is a new short-baseline reactor\nantineutrino experi
ment designed to explore the parameter space relevant to the reactor\nanti
neutrino anomaly. Its primary objective\nis to test the existence of steri
le neutrino oscillations around\nΔm412∼2 eV2\,\na region where previous
experiments have reported both exclusions and possible hints.\nRENE combi
nes a dedicated detector setup with detailed simulation studies to achieve
high\nsensitivity in this domain. By providing fresh measurements\, the e
xperiment aims\nto clarify outstanding questions in reactor antineutrino p
hysics and contribute to the broader\nunderstanding of neutrino properties
. This presentation will summarize the current status and\nscientific goal
 s of RENE.\n\nhttps://indico.ific.uv.es/event/8411/contributions/30536/
