DESCRIPTION:ROOT is a software package for storage\, processing\, analysis
  and visualisation of scientific structured data. With presently more than
  2 EB of data coming from the LHC experiments written in the ROOT TTree da
 ta format\, this project is a veritable international community effort wit
 h a stable support model for users in HEP and other sciences. In this semi
 nar we will take a look at the modern ROOT features resulting from a conti
 nuous evolution following experiments and users' needs\, including modern 
 and performant data analysis and statistical inference. Furthermore\, we w
 ill explore the future of the project\, highlighting among other topics th
 e imminent introduction of an impactful contribution in the form of a new 
 data format for HL-LHC and future colliders\, called RNTuple.\n\nhttps://i
