DESCRIPTION:The major breakthrough we have witnessed in physics at the\ntr
 ansition between XX and XXI century is a new picture of the entire Univers
 e emerging from an impressive amount of data from observational cosmology:
  a flat Universe which is expanding at an accelerated rate and dominated b
 y a large amount of a mysterious \\"Dark Energy\\" together with a\nsubdom
 inant component of \\"Dark Matter\\" ( and\, surprisingly enough\, only a 
 minor part of such dark matter is made of the same baryons we are made of\
 , whilst most of it should be provided by some exotic new particles we hav
 e\nnever seen\, not even in our high energy accelerators). These new data 
 are fascinating and challenging not only for cosmologists\, but also for p
 article physicists: indeed\, there we find some of the very few \\"smoking
  guns\\" for the presence of new physics beyond the Standard Model of\npar
 ticle physics. This will be the main focus of this colloquium: how \\"phys
 ics from the Sky\\" can drive us to the new particle physics\, part of whi
