DESCRIPTION:Multipartite entanglement (ME) is an essential resource for ad
vancing the next generation of quantum technologies\, including quantum se
nsing and computation. However\, detecting and characterizing ME is partic
ularly challenging due to the need to analyze states in large Hilbert spac
es. In this talk\, I will introduce the concept of quantum entanglement\,
highlighting its distinctions from classical correlations. I will then pre
sent a novel approach to detecting and characterizing multipartite entangl
ement by analyzing how quantum-correlated states respond to external pertu
rbations. Finally\, I will demonstrate that these states are capable of ac
hieving ultrasensitive performance in general phase estimation protocols.
