The LHCb collaboration at CERN is addressing one of the most profound questions in contemporary physics: why our universe is dominated by matter rather than antimatter. Central to this investigation is the search for new sources of CP violation. In my thesis, I focus on the electric dipole moment (EDM) which serves as a crucial probe for new physics, with its existence indicating a new source of CP violation and providing a clue in the puzzle of matter-antimatter asymmetry. Additionally, the magnetic dipole moments (MDM) of baryons offer insights into their substructure and serve as experimental benchmarks for testing low-energy Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) models.

To contribute to the global effort in measuring electromagnetic dipole moments, we propose an innovative approach that focuses on Lambda baryons. This approach aims to improve the existing measurements, which have remained unchanged for over four decades, performing the measurement for the first time with a collider experiment, LHCb.
