DESCRIPTION:Effective Field Theories are a ubiquitous framework used for i
ndirect new physics searches. I will focus on the bottom-up approach and
map SMEFT operators to potential UV completions. Particularly interesting
are models for 4-fermion operators and neutral triple gauge couplings. Mo
reover\, the interactions between Axion-Like Particles and SM fields can b
e described by Effective Field Theories. I will explain how collider probe
s can be used to constrain the Wilson coefficients in ALP EFTs.\n\nhttps:/
