DESCRIPTION:Multiloop scattering amplitudes in Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD
) are a crucial ingredient for the precision physics program at the Large
Hadron Collider (LHC). The required theoretical precision leads to an incr
ease in the perturbative order\, so we need to consider increasingly compl
icated Feynman diagrams due to the large number of scales that characteriz
e the particles involved in the collision. Through complicated techniques
the amplitudes are written using the form factors in terms of a minimal se
t of scalar integrals derived from Feynman diagrams. The study of these in
tegrals is fundamental to understand the mathematical properties of scatte
ring amplitudes\n\nI will talk about the complications given by the introd
uction of massive quarks into loops\, especially relating the computation
of a scattering amplitude to the geometries that emerge by studying the pr
operties of Feynman integrals. Finally I will show how to compute the ampl
itude through a semi-analytical method\, with special application to the p
roduction of two photons at NNLO in perturbative QCD.\n\n\n\nThematic are
