Join us for an introductory exploration of Intel's C++ SYCL Essentials!

This workshop offers a comprehensive understanding of SYCL, a cutting-edge parallel programming tool that facilitates heterogeneous computing, seamlessly targeting both CPU and GPU architectures with a single version. Attendees will appreciate the opportunity to adopt a vendor-independent approach, based on industry-wide standards.

Through hands-on sessions utilizing official Intel materials, participants will delve into the fundamentals of SYCL, gaining proficiency in its application for data analysis.

In an era where computational advancements are paramount in physics research, familiarity with SYCL presents a valuable asset. Join institutions such as CERN and Argonne National Laboratory by learning how to leverage SYCL's cutting-edge capabilities for scientific endeavors.

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance and access to the Intel's Developer Cloud.

The workshop is going to be divided into 2 parts:

  • Morning session
    • 10:00-13:00
    • SS6 - Reuniones, Parc Cientific
    • Provide a working knowledge of SYCL, enough to write code
  • Afternoon session
    • 14:00-16:00
    • Seminario, IFIC, Parc Cientific
    • Profilers, optimizations, libraries

Participants are requested to create a free Intel Developer Cloud account prior to the workshop.
