DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Daniel Rodríguez (Universidad de Granada)\nIn 2010 
 we started the first experimental activity at the Department of Atomic\, M
 olecular and Nuclear Physics at the University of Granada. Today we have a
 lmost completed the first research laboratory in the department funded by 
 the European Research Council (primary funds) and by the Spanish Ministry 
 for Economy and Competitiveness through several projects. The total invest
 ment will be above two millions euro and we have started to form in this n
 on-existing field in Spain\, engineers and physicists. The first goal was 
 to create the infrastructure around which we can make further developments
  in collaboration with the Spanish industry\, a process which has been acc
 omplished with respect to precision machinery. We foresee before the end o
 f this year to start developing complex electronics for ion detection at c
 ryogenic temperature and laser physics. In this contribution\, we will sho
 w the existing infrastructure\, the investment done in Spain\, and discuss
  the ways to further interact with the Spanish industry in the short and m
