DESCRIPTION:In this talk I discuss recent updates regarding the search for
  light sterile neutrinos in various classes of experiments with particula
 r focus on the electron neutrino sector. I discuss developments in Gallium
  experiments\, using reactor rate and reactor spectral ratio data\, and a
 lso searches for light  sterile neutrinos in Tritium and solar experiment
 s. I will also briefly discuss  searches in the other channels\, which ar
 e the $\\nu_\\mu$ disappearance and  $\\nu_e$ appearance channels.\n\nhtt
