DESCRIPTION:We report first results from a search for neutrino-induced neu
tral current (NC) resonant ∆(1232) baryon production followed by ∆ rad
iative decay. Data corresponding to MicroBooNE’s first three years of op
erations (6.80×1020 protons on target) are used to select single-photon
events with one or zero protons and without charged leptons in the final s
tate. The background is constrained via an in-situ high-purity measurement
of NC π0 events. This provides the world’s most sensitive search for
NC Delta→Ngamma below 1 GeV\, and a first test of the MiniBooNE low-ener
gy excess under a single photon hypothesis.\n\nhttps://indico.ific.uv.es/e
