With the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012, we are in a position unique in history. We have an internally consistent theory of fundamental physics which has just scored a huge success. Yet it is not a "theory of everything", leaves many key questions unanswered, and seems so far to provide little clue as to where those answers might lie. I will discuss options for continuing the exploration, along with some thoughts and experiences on engaging the wider community in the discussion.
