In the Universe, there are various high energy phenomena that cannot be studied with visible light. For example, though supernovae explosions, which mark the end of the life of some stars, are easily observable by optical telescopes the underlying mechanism can only be understood by the observation of neutrinos and gravitational waves. In addition neutrino mass could be the key to understand the origin of the matter in the Universe. In this lecture, I will discuss the discovery of neutrino mass and the researches in the Universe with neutrinos, gamma rays and gravitational waves.
Admission for this conference is free, but it is necessary to book the tickets beforehand in the Museum's web. Simultaneous translation to Spanish will be provided.
