DESCRIPTION:\n    Chiral anomalies are dear to the heart of the high energ
 y physicist. They explain otherwise forbidden decays and constrain theorie
 s. But in recent years it has turned out that anomalies also play a major 
 role in quantum many body physics from the quark gluon plasma to the elect
 ronics of advanced materials. I will review the theory of anomalies in mat
 ter and the related transport phenomena\, the chiral magnetic\, chiral vor
