DESCRIPTION:After a brief introduction to the properties of the Standard M
 odel Higgs boson (especially the bounds on its mass \nfrom various conside
 rations before the eventual discovery of a standard-like Higgs boson at CE
 RN)\, I will describe \nwhat our community calls `the hierarchy problem'. 
 I will then mention two broad ways to address this problem by \nassociatin
 g the Higgs boson with some symmetries\; more specifically\, the Higgs bos
 on could arise from a supersymmetric \ntheory\, or\, it could be a pseudo-
 Nambu-Goldstone boson which arises in a composite Higgs scenario.\n\nhttps
