 to study non-perturbative aspects of strongly coupled quantum field theori
 es. In this seminar I will first review the basic properties of the gradie
 nt flow\, and then move to one of the main applications: the computation o
 f the running of the strong coupling in both QCD and strongly coupled BSM 
 models. Finally\, if time allows\, I will comment on some future possible
