DESCRIPTION:The next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM) addr
esses some of the main theoretical and phenomenological issues faced by th
e minimal supersymmetric model. In doing so\, it predicts two additional n
eutral Higgs bosons and a fifth neutralino. All these particles may have s
ignatures very distinct from those of the MSSM and could thus help establi
sh a non-minimal nature of SUSY. Since the discovery of the SM-like Higgs
boson at the LHC\, much emphasis has been laid on various versions (and va
riants) of this model and on probing their signatures at the LHC as well a
s other experimental facilities. I shall review some of the recent theoret
ical developments in the NMSSM and the potential of the LHC Run II to unea
rth some of its specific Higgs and neutralino signatures.\n\nhttps://indic
