DESCRIPTION:We concentrate on the possibility of detecting (i) supernova n
eutrinos by using massive cold dark matter detectors (GERDA\, SuperCDMS\,
etc.) and (ii) laboratory neutrinos produced near the Spallation Neutron S
ource facilities at Oak Ridge (COHERENT experiment\, etc.). Towards this a
im\, the nuclear aspects of neutrino-nucleus processes are explored by com
puting the relevant nuclear matrix elements. We evaluate them within the c
ontext of the quasi-particle RPA using realistic strong two-body forces an
d obtain results with high confidence level. Other effective nuclear metho
ds are presented and discussed too. The present study includes\, besides c
ross sections\, simulated signals expected to be recorded by nuclear detec
tors and also event rates (differential and total) predicted to be measure
 d. Our original cross sections calculations are focused on measurable rate
s mainly for the standard model process. Moreover\, we perform calculation
s for the various channels of the nonstandard neutrino-nucleus reactions a
nd come out with encouraging results within the current upper limits of th
 e corresponding exotic parameters.\n\nhttps://indico.ific.uv.es/event/2375
