Minutes from TileCal Valencia meeting (IFIC - CERN) 23rd October 2009

• Operations:
  ATLAS is in running mode since 12th october. Beam to start 23rd of november. Tile FE HW status degraded to known problems (EBC42,EBC43,LBA22,LBC47). Interlock for software foreseen 13th November.
• Alberto:
  Poster for NSS 2009 had to changed from cosmic to CIS data. ROD NIM publication ready to circulate.
  OF Iterations bug found. Same calibration was applied HG and LG. DSP code modified. TDAQ code and DSP version to be revised to avoid this bug in the future.
• Carlos:
  Computed fake tau rates (loose, tight) for QCD dijets (J1 to J4). Event selection revisited. Improved selection efficiency. Included ttbar sample. Working on obtaining new templates for A, Z and ttbar.
  Attendance to NSS 2009 next week. Present poster on TileCal performance.
• Pablo:
  OMB production at 73%. Two boards cannot be programmed via VME. Repeat production tests on OMBs at CERN foreseen next year.
  Upgrade taks: We have no longer the Xilinx ML555. Expected to have new Xilinx Virtex-6 evaluation board in December. Meanwhile use Digilent Spartan3E Starter Kit.
• AOB:
  Next ATLAS upgrade week (9-13 Nov). Presence at CERN from Alberto, Vicente, Pablo.
