DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Jan Steggemann (CERN)\nA search for the SM Higgs bos
 on has been carried out in the Higgs to tautau and mumu channels with the 
 CMS detector at the LHC collider. In addition\, a search for lepton-flavor
 -violating decays is reported.  The analyses are based on pp collision dat
 a collected at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV\, corresponding to i
 ntegrated luminosities of 5/fb and 20/fb\, respectively. For the SM Higgs 
 boson search in the tautau channel\, the analysis strategy and resulting e
