Minutes from TileCal Valencia meeting (IFIC - CERN) 13th July 2009

At Valencia: Alberto, Arantxa, Fernando, Juan, Pablo, Vicente.

• Arantxa:
  Work on trigger validation. Added monitoring plots (ie Error monitoring in TileLookForMu). Workded on online vs offline correlation and validation of recent online results.
• Carlos:
  Presented online status. Frequent calibration runs taken even for OF validation. High rate issue fixed with DSP config. DSP and RCD updates planned for QF implementation, DSP memory checking and automatic stopless recovery.
  Ongoing work for analysis. Described upper exclusion limit technique and the method coverage.
• Alberto:
  Presented recent issues appeared with in the reconstruction. Suggested Eva to cross check the results. Presented another QF algorithm to take into account the pulse shape and it's derivative.
• Eva:
  Work done as DQ validator shifter. Talked with Mike several times, need more time to learn how to modify it. Talk with Giulio pending.
• Pablo:
  Working with us for 6 months as technical support. Tasks: OMB production, setup the Xilinx evaluation board. USB communication using windows.
• Fernando: (Beca de colaboración)
  Worked on a PU prototype for the upgrade. As his "Proyecto Final de Carrera". Plan to finish by the end of the year.
• AOB:
  Juan commented the need to find more space for students at CERN.
