DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, an introduction to keV sterile neutrinos as Dar
 k Matter particles is given. After reviewing the cosmological aspects of (
 Warm) Dark Matter\,\nI will explain why the topic is interesting for parti
 cle physics model building and also point out the differences to ordinary 
 neutrino model building.\nWe will go through a couple of generic models\, 
 all of which yield interesting and fundamental connections between the neu
 trino and the Dark Matter sectors.\nWe finally present some alternative id
