DESCRIPTION:The MINOS long baseline neutrino experiment been operating for
over six years. In this talk\, I will tell the current story of neutrino
oscillations using the MINOS measurements. Muon neutrinos disappear in a w
ay consistent with a two-flavor oscillation pattern\, are not substantiall
y changing to a sterile neutrino flavor\, nor decaying. There is the very
interesting question of whether some portion appear as electron neutrinos
instead of tau. MINOS sees a hint of an excess of electron flavor consiste
nt with three-flavor oscillations\, but background fluctuations are also a
reasonable interpretation. Further\, because of the unique design of the
beam and the magnetized detector\, MINOS has measured the anti-neutrino os
cillation parameters separately. Anti-neutrinos seem to oscillate with the
same parameters of nature as neutrinos. This is currently the most comple
te exploration of neutrino oscillations by a long-baseline beam experiment
\, though the next generation of oscillation experiments are already under
 way.\n\nhttps://indico.ific.uv.es/event/1822/
