DESCRIPTION:In the era of LHC\, theoretical calculations of one loop and s
 ometimes two loop amplitudes are necessary.The complexity of these calcula
 tions is so high that one should always try to reduce the problem into sim
 pler ones.We start with the one loop case giving a detailed description of
  the OPP method for reduction of any one loop amplitude at the integrand l
 evel.We discuss the necessity of the so called spurious terms for the redu
 ction formula and the rational terms once one departs from 4 dimensions.At
  the end we discuss briefly possible extension of this method at two loops
