DESCRIPTION:pi K form factors are crucial for the extraction of the elemen
 t V_us of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix. We will talk about our rec
 ent work based on the method of unitarity bounds\, that uses perturbative 
 QCD inputs\, to obtain stringent constraints on the slope and curavature p
 arameters of the scalar form factor and compare our findings with those in
  the literature. The role of soft meson theorems is highlighted\, along wi
 th the implications of our work in constraining departures from these.\n\n
