SUMMARY:Anomalous soft photon phenomenon in multiple hadron production

DESCRIPTION:In the experimental domain of high energy physics there is an 
 unexplained effect reported by several experiments in which the observed p
 roduction of soft photons in hadronic reactions was found to be several ti
 mes higher than the strict theoretical predictions. A review of the experi
 mental results coming from both\, fixed target experiments and e+e- annihi
 lation (the DELPHI experiment at LEP1)\, will be given\, followed by a sho
 rt discussion of theoretical attempts to describe the phenomenon.\n\nhttps
