DESCRIPTION:Clustering phenomena\, observed in excited states close to dec
 ay thresholds\, appear near the drip-lines already in the ground state\, t
 he most exotic being Borromean core-n-n halo nuclei. We have undertaken tw
 o experiments aiming to probe the internal structure of these three-body s
 ystems: in 14Be\, we have measured the 12Be+n+n dissociation on Pb/C targe
 ts with the neutron array DEMON\, and analysed triple correlations in the 
 system\; in 6He\, we have measured radiative capture of protons by the sub
 systems of 4He-n-n with the Chateau-de-Cristal photon spectrometer. We wil
 l discuss the different results of both experiments and their implications
