DESCRIPTION:Experimental aspects of precision measurements at the LHC are 
 discussed. In particular\, various methods of the luminosity measurement a
 re described as well as the precision requirements for the `base-line' phy
 sics programme. One of these methods involves an accurate measurement of t
 he inelastic and elastic proton-proton scattering using very forward detec
 tors. A possibility of tagging two-photon production at the LHC using thes
