DESCRIPTION:We have studied the the invariant mass distributions of the $\
 \pi\\pi$ and $K \\overline{K}$ systems up to 1.2 GeV from the $\\Psi \\to
\\phi \\\, \\pi\\pi(K\\overline{K})$ decays. The approach exploits the con
nection between these processes and the $\\pi\\pi$ and $K\\overline{K}$ st
range and non-strange scalar form factors by considering a local interacti
 on of the form $\\Psi_\\mu \\phi^\\mu \\left(\\bar{s}s+ \\lambda_\\phi \\\
, \\bar{n}n\\right )$. The calculated scalar form factors are then matched
with the ones from next-to-leading order Chiral Perturbation Theory (CHPT
). To accomplish that\, the $K\\overline{K}$ scalar form factors are also
calculated at next-to-leading order in CHPT. Final state interactions in t
 he $J/\\Psi \\rightarrow \\phi \\pi\\pi(K\\overline{K})$ processes are tak
en into account by considering the $\\phi$ meson as a spectator and hence
only two body re-scattering effects result. A very good agreement with the
experimental data from DM2 and MARK-III is achieved. Furthermore\, making
  use of $SU(3)$ symmetry\, the S-wave contribution to the $\\pi^+\\pi^-$ e
 vent distribution in the $J/\\Psi \\rightarrow \\omega \\pi^+\\pi^-$ react
ion is also given reproducing the experimental data up to 0.7 GeV (for hig
her energies the D-wave contribution is not longer negligible). The studie
d decays of the $J/\\Psi$ to a vector and a pair of pseudoscalars turn out
to be very sensitive to OZI violating physics which we parametrize in ter
ms of $\\lambda_\\phi$ and the CHPT low energy constants $L_4^r$ and $L_6^
r$. These constants all come out to be clearly different from zero.\n\nhtt
