DESCRIPTION:Non-relativistic bound states have at least three well separat
 ed dynamical scales: the mass of the particles that form the bound state (
 hard)\, the typical relative momentun in the bound state (soft) and the ty
 pical binding energy (ultrasoft). This allows to introduce two effective f
 ield theories after sequentially integrating out first the hard scale and 
 next the soft scale. I will discuss how these effective field theories are
  obtained in the case of QCD and QED\, and how they allow to organise boun
