DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Richard Gran (CERN/University of Minnesota)\nIn a re
cent paper in Nature\, the MINERvA neutrino cross section experiment prese
nted a measurement of the axial form factor of the nucleon using anti-neut
rino reactions on protons (hydrogen nuclei).   This is the first new nucl
eon data since the 1980's bubble chamber measurements that used neutrino +
neutron (in deuterium) reactions.  Phenomenological nucleon form factors
are essential information for two customers.  They are used in the calcu
lation of the baseline event rates for neutrino + nucleus interactions use
d in the search of other phenomena\, such as neutrino oscillation paramete
rs and CP violation.   They can also be calculated using lattice QCD tech
niques\, where calculations may in principle be more precise than the exis
ting measurements.   This talk will split between celebrating the 50 year
history of the deuterium measurements and describing the new MINERvA meas
urement\, with implications for current and upcoming neutrino experiments
 such as T2K\, NOvA\, SBN\, HyperK\, and DUNE.\nhttps://indico.ific.uv.es/e

I will introduce the Carleman linearization method—an old but still valu

how it works\, we’ll look at its application to a classical epidemiologi

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Seth Koren (University of Notre Dame)\nAs particle p
hysicists we usually think about small fluctuations of fields\, but the ph
enomenology of our theories can depend crucially on the global structure o
f the field space. First I'll discuss an ambiguity in the Standard Model g
auge group\, whose different versions make different model-independent pre
dictions for the existence of fractionally charged particles. Such signatu
res at the LHC merit further attention from experimentalists and phenomeno
logists\, as these particles can both reveal the structure of the SM\, and
falsify theories of unification. Then I'll turn to axion theories and\, a
s an example\, the DFSZ model\, where careful examination of global proper
ties of the scalars and the gauge group can affect the structure of axion
strings\, and resolve the cosmological domain wall problem.\nhttps://indic

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Ludovica Aperio Bella (DESY)\nThe experiments at the
Large Hadron Collider (LHC) continue to confirm the Standard Model (SM) o
f particle physics with impressive precision\, and no conclusive evidence
for new physics at the TeV scale has yet been observed. In this context\,
precision measurements of electroweak observables provide a powerful and c
omplementary approach to exploring physics beyond the SM.\nThe LHC experim
ents have delivered a broad and highly precise program of electroweak meas
urements\, probing the internal consistency of the SM through fundamental
quantities such as the W- and Z-boson masses\, the effective weak mixing a
ngle\, and related electroweak parameters. More than forty years after the
ir discovery\, the W and Z bosons remain key laboratories for testing the
SM\, where even small deviations from predicted relations could point to n
ew phenomena.\nThis talk will review recent high-impact ATLAS results in e
lectroweak precision physics\, highlighting both experimental and theoreti
cal challenges and their relevance in the ongoing LHC physics program. Pro
spects for the High-Luminosity LHC\, as well as the role of future collide

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Graham Kribs (University of Oregon)\nNew strongly-co

eas of particle physics\, extending from dark matter itself\, to theories
that address the hierarchy problem\, to providing a vast array of new coll
ider signals. I'll provide an overview of the theory space\, the dark matt
er candidates\, and then discuss some very simple theories that have surpr
ising dark matter and collider physics properties. The elastic scattering
cross section for direct detection experiments can be highly suppressed fo
r dark baryons due to the structure of theory and the symmetries that surv
ive confinement. Dark mesons can be strongly constrained by disappearing t
rack searches as well as resonant production and decay\, the latter arisin
g because of a global-gauge-gauge anomaly that was not previously recogniz

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Riccardo Impavido (Università di Ferrara and INFN F
errara )\nIn this seminar I will focus on axion-like particles (ALPs) prod
uced by a network of topological defects (cosmic strings). Such ALPs enjoy
a very peculiar quasi scale-invariant distribution function spread across
many orders of magnitude in momentum\, allowing them to free-stream and t
hus to be constrained by cosmological microwave background (CMB) probes\,
most importantly CMB lensing. The work provides the most stringent bound o
n ALPs abundance in the mass window 10^-20- 10^-16 eV\, where we claim the
y cannot be more than 10 per cent of Dark Matter.\nIf time permits I will
also briefly touch upon two works\, one on a formal result in inflationary
cosmology that reaches beyond perturbation theory (2507.17593) and the ot
her on a phenomenological investigation on the chemical potential of cosmo
 logical neutrinos.\nhttps://indico.ific.uv.es/event/8485/

DESCRIPTION:In recent years\, correlation measurements at the Large Hadron
Collider\, particularly in small collision systems such as proton-proton\
, have proven to be a powerful and complementary experimental tool to acce
ss the strong interaction in hadronic systems with strange and charm conte
nt.\n\nThe underlying QCD dynamics in these sectors can give rise to a ric
h spectrum of exotic states beyond the conventional meson and baryon pictu
re. The nature and internal structure of such states are strongly influenc
ed by the interplay between coupled channels\, and experimental constraint
s on their properties are typically obtained from invariant-mass analyses
performed at hadronic and at electron-positron colliders.\n\nIn this talk\
, I will discuss how femtoscopy can contribute to the search for and the u

for systems involving strange and charm hadrons. Preliminary expectations

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Antonio De Maria (Nanjing University)\nThanks to the
large branching ratio and good signal over background selection\, Higgs a

decay channels\, since the LHC Run 2\, Higgs to tau decays have been used
in the ATLAS experiment to establish the Higgs Yukawa coupling and also pr
obe the Higgs charge-parity conjugation and lepton flavour violation. More

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Sung Mook Lee (CERN)\nThe QCD axion is one of the mo
st compelling candidates for physics beyond the Standard Model\, as it can
simultaneously solve the strong CP problem and account for the dark matte
r abundance. In the minimal single-axion framework\, especially in a post-
inflationary cosmology\, the combination of axion gauge coupling quantizat
ion and axion production from string networks leads to sharp and highly pr
edictive targets.\n\nIn this talk\, we revisit these predictions in a simp
le but realistic setup with an additional confining dark gauge group and e
xtra axion degrees of freedom. We will show how axion mixing and defect dy
namics can modify both the coupling predictions and the relic abundance ex
pectations through emergent features specific to multi axion scenarios\, a
nd discuss when the standard single axion benchmarks remain reliable. This
provides a useful test of what remains truly robust in extended axion the
ories and helps guide current experimental targets.\nhttps://indico.ific.u

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Agnese Tolino (IFIC (CSIC-UV))\nPrimordial black hol
es (PBHs) are hypothesized to have formed in the early Universe from the c
ollapse of large primordial overdensities\, among other possible mechanism
 s. Unlike astrophysical black holes produced by stellar collapse\, PBHs co
uld have formed with much smaller masses. In particular\, PBHs with initia
l masses below\, or of order \,10^{15} g are significantly affected by Haw
king radiation\, through which they lose mass by emitting particles with a
quasi-thermal spectrum.\nAs these PBHs approach the end of their lifetime
s\, their masses decrease dramatically while their temperatures rise to th
e TeV-PeV range. In this final phase\, they are expected to emit extremely
  energetic photons\, neutrinos\, and cosmic rays\, potentially providing o
bservable signatures and offering a unique window into physics beyond the
Standard Model.\nIn this seminar\, I will review how a multimessenger appr

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Jose L. Tain (Instituto de Fisica Corpuscular)\, Ale
jandro Algora\, Paraskevi Dimitriou (IAEA)\nNuclear Data Needs for Antineu
trino Spectra and their Applications\n\nA workshop on the status of reacto
r antineutrino flux and spectrum measurements—and their comparison with
model predictions—will be held at IFIC (CSIC-University of Valencia) fro
m 4 to 8 May 2026.\n\nWhile significant experimental and theoretical pr
ogress has been achieved over the past two decades\, the foundations of re
actor antineutrino flux models still rely on the integrated beta-spectrum
measurements performed by Schreckenbach et al. at ILL in the late 1980s. M
ore recent measurements of the 235U/239Pu beta-spectrum ratio by Kopeikin
et al. at the Kurchatov Institute have revealed discrepancies of approxima
tely 5%\, suggesting potential normalization issues in the original ILL da
ta.\n\nFurthermore\, the first high-precision measurements from JUNO offer
exceptional potential to improve our understanding of long-standing quest
ions—such as the Reactor Antineutrino Anomaly (RAA) and observed spectra
l distortions—while providing deeper insight into the underlying nuclear
physics effects.\n\nThe workshop will focus on the following primary topi
cs:\n\n- Discussion of the possibility of a new measurement of aggregate b
eta-energy spectra for the main actinides\, enabling a direct comparison w
ith the ILL reference measurements\n\n- Latest results from the recent JUN
O measurements\n\n- Advances in decay data from recent TAGS and beta-spect
 rum experiments\n\n- Impact of the JEFF-4.0 fission-yield evaluation\, inc
luding associated uncertainties and covariances\n\nThe scientific programm
e will include presentations followed by roundtable discussions allowing a
mple time for scientific exchange.\n\nThe workshop is organized in collabo
ration with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and it is supp
orted by the following institutions and grants including CEX2023-001292-S

DESCRIPTION:Note: Due to the total solar eclipse and high seasonal demand
in Valencia\, participants are strongly encouraged to secure accommodatio
n as early as possible.\n\nOn 12 August 2026\, Spain will witness the firs
t total solar eclipse visible from mainland Europe in almost 30 years. Bey
ond its beauty\, a total eclipse is a striking reminder of a central theme
in astrophysics: magnetic fields shape what we see\, from faint plasma st
ructures to bursts of energetic particles and coherent radio emission.\n\n
Like the Sun\, many nearby stars and ultracool dwarfs are magnetically act
ive across the electromagnetic spectrum. Over the last decade\, new wideba
nd\, high-time-resolution radio facilities have transformed the field: aur
oral bursts\, rotational modulation\, and broadband polarimetry are now be
ing used as quantitative probes of magnetic geometry\, particle accelerati
 on\, stellar winds\, and star–planet interactions—and they are opening
a realistic path toward detecting and characterising exoplanetary magneto
spheres.\n\nTo mark this rare celestial event\, this conference will take
place in Valencia\, Spain from 10–12 August 2026\, bringing together an
international community working on stars\, ultracool dwarfs\, and radio e
xoplanet science. To foster deep discussion and sustained interaction\, at
tendance will be capped at 50 participants. A dedicated eclipse field sess
ion will allow participants to share the totality experience together as p
art of the conference week.\n\nKey themes include:\n\n\n	\n	Stellar winds
and star–planet interaction.\n	\n	\n	Stars and ultracool dwarf magnetism
.\n	\n	\n	Radio exoplanet searches and what magnetospheric detections woul
 d imply for environments and habitability\n	\n	\n	Multi-wavelength magneti
 c activity diagnostics\, connecting radio to optical/UV/X-ray signatures a

DESCRIPTION:Our understanding of the Universe is at a turning point with t
he predictions of the standard cosmological model and the observations fro
m different surveys are showing tensions in several key areas. The disagre
ement is expressed in the value of cosmic expansion as well as in the grow
th of large-scale structure in the Universe. New cosmological surveys\, ma
ny of which are European\, may expose tension in additional areas of the c
oncordance model. The question of cosmological tensions can be confronted
in a number of ways. Firstly\, survey data needs to be further analyzed fo
r potential systematic uncertainties or biases. Secondly\, there have been
numerous advances in approaches to data analysis and statistics\, some of
which provide less dependence on cosmological models to make cosmological
parameter estimates. Lastly\, there are a plethora of new proposals from
fundamental physics which range from novel neutrino physics to dark energy
proposals (and others) which may contribute to a solution to the cosmolog
ical tensions problem. These represent the three research themes through w
hich cosmological tensions will either be alleviated or resolved.\n\nCosmo
 Verse@Bilbao 2026 (15 September – 17 September 2026 & 18 September Manag
ement Committee Meeting) is the fourth annual conference in a series of co
nferences that aim to establish a link between the different research area
s in cosmology with the main focus on challenges of tensions in cosmologic
al survey data.\n\nThis conference is organized within the COST Action ini
tiative CA21136 – Addressing observational tensions in cosmology with sy
stematics and fundamental physics (CosmoVerse).\n\nThe first conference ca
